- Squaw valley has expanded their terrain parks and added another beginner area - Press release

- Sierra-at-Tahoe has also added another a fourth terrain park aimed at beginners, a new snowskate park, and fifteen additional rails. A new access road from Highway 50 has been installed, which should cut down on traffic a bit. Sierra riders will also benefit from new toilets and an expanded food menu at the West Bowl base.

- Bear Valley will soon complete a new high-speed quad.

- Boreal will have the nation's only night superpipe in 2006/2007

- Northstar-at-Tahoe is currently working on a new six-pack lift, the Tahoe Zephyr Express, and a new surface lift to Lookout Mountain. There will be new trails opening in the 06/07 season, as well as expanded snowmaking (32 acres), and a new restaurant, Schaffer's Camp.
